It has been awhile! Here’s a New pattern!

Hello!

As is obvious, I have not updated this site for quite awhile. Because of that I currently do not have patterns available for purchase in the shop.

Today, I bring you Tile 1 in my new Boho Series: Deadhead Snakes. It is included in the current 25% off sale on Ravelry and Etsy. As you may have seen in the banner, or in my socials, this design features a prominent deadhead moth accompanied by some snakes and assorted flyers. The idea was actually inspired by a shower curtain that I recently purchased to use in a newly updated guest bath, or more accurately, the bathroom to my yarn room! Below is the bathroom I am a little proud of updating with paint, hardware, and decor. And, of course, the shower curtain design that you may have already seen on amazon as they offer it in numerous types of items. None the less, I love it and can’t help but stare at the new and witchy, bubbly door knobs!

I have wanted to design a deadhead moth for a pretty long time. I sometimes develop these little drawing obsessions where I will draw the same subject matter in multiple designs. This will become evident soon with the upcoming patterns that are currently in testing. So, I know I will draw a multitude of different deadhead moths in different backgrounds for awhile.

My idea for this series was to take one of the creatures from the curtain to be the prominent character in its own scene, tied together with similar recurring creatures, such as snakes and assorted flying bugs. I currently have 4 tiles: 2 tested, and wips in the drawing phase. Tile 2 will most likely be published this month. I have not finalized a name yet, but the 2nd featured creature is a bunny! Let me know what you think of this design recreated in the beautiful project below, crocheted by one of my amazing testers, Monique!
